Europ Assistance, you live, we care

Helping carers with Aidalage

In France, 8 out of 10 dependent people are helped by their family or friends on a daily basis*. These carers are often alone in dealing with this heavy responsibility that they have to reconcile with their work and family lives.

In order to support informal carers in France, Capitis Conseil (a Lyon-based asset management consulting firm) and Europ Assistance are launching Aidalage, an innovative and unique assistance solution designed specifically for them. This solution is intended for anyone who provides free daily care to one or more close family members who have lost their autonomy due to illness, accident or disability. It is valid even if the family member’s state of dependence was declared long ago.

Aidalage comes in the form of two annual options. The first includes four assistance services designed to to assess the situation, analyse needs and refer the individual to appropriate service networks (that have been approved by Europ Assistance), namely advice from a social worker, a housing audit, a financial assessment and a living solution. The second goes even further by aiming to concretely improve the comfort of both the carer and the assisted individual: it includes psychological support, home delivery of meals and medication, management of in-home work, free use of the 123classez.com virtual safe, and more.

This innovative partnership between Capitis Conseil and Europ Assistance further illustrates our society's growing need for Care Services, the new generation of personalised assistance services.
