Patrick Guet,
Reengineering, Operations and Information Systems Director of the Europ Assistance Group
Patrick Guet joined the Europ Assistance Group on January 2004 as Director of Re-engineering,
Operations and Information Systems. Patrick Guet is a member of the Group's Executive
Committee.
He began his professional career primarily in information-technology service companies.
In the late 1980's, he became Director of the DEVA Division of the SG2 Group.
In 1992 he joined the France Telecom Group, where he held various positions. For three
years he was head of the MDC company located in the United States; in 1995 he was
made responsible for creating and developing all operations for the Internet access
service of France Telecom: Wanadoo.
From 1995 to 2003, as assistant general manager of the Wanadoo Interactive company,
he was responsible for the information system, services platforms, network and customer
service for the Wanadoo offer on the French market.
At the same time, beginning in 2002 he formulated and deployed the technical strategy
of the Wanadoo Group, and later for the Home Division of the France Telecom Group.
In 2004 he was appointed assistant technical director and customer relations director
within the Home Division of France Telecom.
Patrick Guet, age 56, is a graduate of the French engineering school Ecole Polytechnique.
