Manrico Iachia,
Executive Vice President for the Region Iberian Peninsula – Latin America zone,
Israel, and the Asia of the Europ Assistance Group
Manrico Iachia is a member of the Executive Committee of the Europ Assistance Group.
He is Executive Vice President for the Region Iberian Peninsula and Latin America
of Europ Assistance, and for the Asia-Oceania zone and for Israel.
Manrico Iachia began his professional career in the insurance industry as director
of the international department at Concorde, from 1983 to 1984.
He began his career with Europ Assistance in Great Britain in 1985 as International
Marketing Director. He held the same position in New York from 1986 to 1987; in 1988
he joined Generali in Paris for one year. From 1989 to 1993, he ran the international
department of Europ Assistance from Paris. He has been chairman and managing director
of Europ Assistance Portugal since 1989, and chairman of the board of the Brazilian
and Argentine companies since 1995. Since 1996 he has been director of the Iberian
Peninsula and Latin American zone. Since 1997 he has been the chairman of the Executive
Committee of Europ Assistance Spain.
Manrico Iachia, age 54, polyglot, is a graduate of Columbia University (New York)
in international finance. He also holds a degree in political science from the University
of Milan.
