Europ Assistance – with a history and a culture focused on Corporate social responsibility
The principles of Corporate social responsibility are a natural extension of our strategic aims.
- Today, and in the long-term, our core business lines are relevant more than ever to the major challenges - including those affecting the environment
- which face society as a whole.
- The development of our business activities and, as a direct consequence, of our performance in the future, will
depend on our ability to anticipate the ever-changing demands of society whilst at the same time taking environmental considerations into account.
- Our values, our history and – not least – the name of Europ Assistance, form an integral base on which to build a culture of Corporate social responsibility,
not least due to our strong customer-service track record.
- By adopting the values of Corporate social responsibility we reduce the risks to our business, including those posed
through our external supply chain; we expect the code of conduct and ethics of our service providers to match the Corporate social responsibility policy and corporate values
of the Europ Assistance Group.
- Our commitment to sustainable
development falls in line with that of our parent company Generali, which has launched its own policy under the banner “Acting for our Future”,
with the aim of confronting the challenges posed in 4 key areas – the environment, health, planning
for the future, and the safety of people and their goods.
- From a strategic viewpoint, the principles of Corporate social responsibility will become ever more important in future,
as external agencies in the financial and social sectors place increasing emphasis on the importance of Corporate social responsibility issues.
