Over the weekend, WA Partnership Manager Casey Edmonds didn’t just speak up for women’s safety at night, she took real strides to raise awareness for a cause close to her heart.

Casey walked all Saturday night, from sunset to sunrise, around Perth’s Swan River as part of We Are WM’s Text Me When You Get Home- an overnight effort calling out the everyday fear too many women grow up carrying when it comes to getting home safely.

Fuelled by her passion for education and her drive to build awareness, she took that message to the pavement (literally) in the spirit of #IWD. As a company that lives by CARE, rallying around Casey and her event was a no brainer!

Europ Assistance ANZ was proud to step up and sponsor the 2:00am walking loop, a segment dedicated to the themes of resilience, endurance, and solidarity.

“As a business driven by our ethos of You live, We care, seeing Casey bring that to life is truly inspiring. Her commitment to raising awareness for women’s safety is something we’re incredibly proud to stand behind and reflects the same care we strive to provide travellers with every day. Anytime. Anywhere.” Justin Sebire, CEO EA ANZ

As we celebrate Casey, we also recognise the many women across our industry who show the same strength, compassion, and commitment, supporting travellers with care when they need it most.
